Main Street Guthrie Center is celebrating the start of fall and end of summer this weekend.

Executive Director Lindsay Gilland says that they are hosting their annual Fall Fest in conjunction with the farmers market on Saturday from 8-11am. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why they are holding the event.

“We will be working with our Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce, and Relay for Life. We will be having our farmers market like we have all summer long, but we will also be having kids activities under our fall festival side of the farmers market.”

Gilland mentions that there will be many fun activities for children and families during the fall fest. She adds that she hopes to see many community members come out to have some fun.
