The West Central Valley Wildcat cross country team hosted their home meet, the Wildcat Invitational on Thursday. The Wildcat boys, were lead on the leaderboard by junior Kiernan Hutton who placed 31st with a time of 20:56.5. Cadyn Guisinger the sophomore would follow in 38th place with a time of 22:11.7 with Owen Steinkamp not far behind in 47th place with a time of 23:30.5. For the girls, Rhowen Miller would lead the pack for the Wildcats in 30th place with a time of 32:44.3.

Wildcat cross country action continues tomorrow as the Wildcats travel to the Greenfield Country Club in Greenfield for the Nodaway Valley Invitational. The 5k is set to begin at 5pm for the boys and 5:30 for the girls.
