Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Head Volleyball Coach Trevor Irwin highlights the areas the upperclassmen have been able to improve in during the 2024 season.

Irwin tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Tigers are facing great teams this year, keeping them on their toes. He admits that the main topic ADM has been talking about revolves around the mentality of being able to compete on the highest level within themselves. Irwin says that the Tigers are having meetings about their own perception, working together, and the best quality about every player on the team.

“Our juniors and our seniors are really doing a quality job with that, bringing our team closer as a unit to battling out some of those bigger matches that are definitely going to happen as we get farther into our schedule.”

ADM is sitting at 12-5 overall on the season (5-0 inside the Raccoon River Conference) as they’ve won their last three games. The Tigers will be in action on Tuesday in Adel taking on RRC opponent Bondurant-Farrar for Dig Pink Night. The game will get underway at 7:15pm.
