Harlan Community defeated Perry 49-7 Friday night in Class 3A District 6 action at Dewey Field.  The game was played with a continuous clock in the second half after Harlan built a 35-0 first half lead.  The Cyclones dominated field position all night and the offense had no trouble moving the football.  Senior Lukas Francis rushed for a career high five touchdowns and 146 yards on just 12 carries.  The Cyclones finished the night with seven rushing touchdowns.  Perry was able to find the end zone late in the game on a 39 yard touchdown pass from Geren Kenney to Owen Zander.  It was Zander’s first career varsity touchdown.  Aiden Burgin led the Perry rushing attack with 34 yards.   Harlan improves to 3-3 while Perry falls to 2-4.  The Bluejays will host Atlantic next Friday night in the final home game of the season.  It has been classified as senior night.
