The two high schools in Greene County have conference volleyball matches tonight. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Greene County Rams are at home in the high school gym in Jefferson with Saydel while Coach Makayla Sparr’s Paton-Churdan Rockets play Coon Rapids-Bayard in Coon Rapids.

The Rams have played the fewest Heart of Iowa Activities Conference matches of any of the league’s nine teams and are 2-1 in conference play and 7-9 overall. Saydel is 2-12 on the season and 0-7 in the HOIAC.

The Rockets are 2-7 with a seven match losing streak, which includes an 0-6 record in the Rolling Valley Activities Conference. CR-B is 4-1 in the league and 17-4 overall.
