A couple of swimmers representing Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School had great performances from their meet Tuesday.

ADM, who partners with Waukee, lost 102-84 on the road in Waukee Northwest. Tigers’ Sophomore Finlee Burns finished third in the Girls 50-meter Freestyle with a time of 26.07. She also placed second behind Waukee Northwest Senior Willa Hage in the 100-meter Butterfly at 1:03.71. ADM’s Junior Emma Popp tallied second in the 100-meter Backstroke with a time 1:02.70, while she won in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:21.10 over her teammate, Freshman Maya Moore. Burns and Popp were also apart of the 400-meter Freestyle Relay team that finished second.

The team will return to the pool on October 12th facing off against Boone, Carroll, Lewis Central, Des Moines East, Dowling Catholic, Ottumwa, Johnston, Southeast Polk, and Waukee Northwest at Summit Middle School in Johnston.
