The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country teams raced into the top five spots in Williamsburg on Tuesday.

The Tigers competed in the Williamsburg Invitational where the girls racked up 152 points for fourth place out of 17 teams, and the boys finished in second behind Mount Vernon-Lisbon with 83 points. The top three runners on ADM for the girls included Freshman Elliotte Von Roden, who was 11th overall, with a time of 19:52 in the 5K (3.1 miles), as Sophomore Allie Eggleston was 24th overall running 20:29, and Senior Ella Goodrich tallying 35th overall with a time of 21:07.

On the boys side, it was Senior Torin Timmerman posted at ninth overall with a time of 16:44, Sophomore Max Marple (17.16.0) and Senior Shay Holdmeyer (17.16.3) finished in 16th and 17th, as they were neck and neck.

The Tigers will now be off until October 10th when they travel to Fort Dodge for the state meet. For the full results from the Williamsburg Invitational, check below.
