The Perry Public Library’s October Grab and Go Craft Kit revolves around a delicious vegetable.

The library is inviting participants to decorate beaded corn on the cob in anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday. According to Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer, it will gives homes’ an extra bit of flavor.

“It’s kind of a throwback thing that you might’ve done a version of when you were a kid. This one’s a little bit more sophisticated, and it will be a fun addition to your Thanksgiving decor.”

Farmer emphasizes that the beaded corn kits are while supplies last, so make sure to stop by the library to pick up the necessary materials for free. The theme will begin tomorrow and run through the month of October. For more information, contact the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
