As part of September’s Panorama School Board meeting, one of the topics for discussion involved the district’s priorities.
Superintendent Kasey Huenbner says that these priorities and goals are important to have and identify, as they show the community how administration and the Board would like the district to run, and what is important to them. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that those priorities have not changed from last year.
“We’re going to keep those goals the same, as this will be going into the second year. So we’ll be focusing on the student growth. We’re also going to be focusing on some life development opportunities for our students too.”
Huebner mentions that after some conversations with the community, life development opportunities was especially focused on, as they want to bring in some learning and leadership opportunities for students. He adds that with these priorities, the district hopes to help students be better prepared for life after high school.
