Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School Principal Lee Griebel reflects on how the 2024-25 school year is going.

Griebel is in his 19th year at ADM High School and discusses that he had conversations with the staff prior to the year about the importance of building relationships with students. He details that getting to know kids will help generate a developmental plan for them. Griebel is inspired to work with students on a daily basis.

“They are dedicated, determined, they come in here. Sometimes education can be a challenge, we want to make sure our learning environment meets the needs of all of our kids, so we want to vary our programming, we want to make sure that all kids have the opportunities.”

Griebel adds that ADM has a great batch of teachers on staff too, with the high school bringing in 11 for the new year. He explains that the goal is to set students up for success in their post-high school careers.
