The 10th Annual Art Harvest Tour is happening today and tomorrow as it makes stops in the City of Perry.
Art on the Prairie is welcoming people out to five locations in central Iowa including Perry, Woodward, Jefferson, Ogden, and Boone to view artwork from 22 artists. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti notes that both Mary Rose Collective and Betsy Peterson Designs will be two locations in Perry that will display artwork. She highlights the aspect she enjoys with the harvest tour.
“The thing I love about this event in particular is the opportunity to actually go and see the artists’ studios. You can go and see how big a loom is and the different kinds of looms and what each of them make differently, what’s different about them. You might be even be able to try it out yourself and see the process, and have a better understanding and appreciation of that.”
The harvest tour is going on today and tomorrow from 10am-5pm featuring 11 stops total throughout the six different cities.
