The City of Dallas Center is welcoming the public to an annual event today.

The Dallas Center Homebrewers and Smokers is hosting the 12th Annual DC Homebrewers Fest, which is a combination of beer, barbeque, and giving. Dallas Center Administrative Assistant April Scrivner tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the event is a fundraiser for Shop with a Cop, the Dallas Center Food Pantry, and Sustaining, Active, Independent, Living, in Dallas Center (SAIL DC). 

The DC Fire and Rescue will be grilling burgers, brats, and hotdogs, while the DC Smokers will have tasty treats. Scrivner outlines that admission is free to get in, but a monetary donation is encouraged to assist with families in need for the holiday season. The Homebrewers Fest is taking place this evening from 5-9pm at the Dallas Center Memorial Hall.
