Sept. 19th

Giovanni Tavira Berrum, Marengo, was traveling in 13700 block of N Ave. when he slowed for a vehicle turning in front of him.  When he slowed, he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a minor driver.  No injuries were reported and damage to the minor’s vehicle was estimated at $2000.  Damage to Mr. Tavira Berrum’s car was estimated at $100.  Both cars were driven from the scene.

Sept. 26th

Prince Benson, age 24, 2423 E 13th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violations Of Conditions Of Pretrial Release.

A minor driver was on the 28000 block of 250th St when the driver lost control and went into the ditch, rolling the vehicle onto it’s side.  The driver was checked for any injuries at the scene and released by EMS. The vehicle had an estimated $5000 damage.  The vehicle was privately towed.

Sept. 27th

Rolando Espino, Brownsville, Tx. was driving on I80 near the 110 mile marker, when he hit a tire in the roadway.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.

Riley Olson, Chewelah, Wa, was driving on 180 near the 110 mile marker, when he hit a tire in the roadway.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $15000.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
