The AC/GC Chargers football team is on the road to face off against the Riverside Bulldogs.

The Chargers are 4-0 on the season, while the Bulldogs are 3-1, with their only loss coming from a strong AHSTW team. The Chargers are also 4-0 against the Bulldogs, with last year’s game ending with a 27-15 score.

For AC/GC, senior quarterback Jathan South leads the way in passing yards, with 253 on 11 of 17 throws for four touchdowns in the air, while also contributing 445 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Senior fullback Mike Fuller is the rushing leader, with 481 yards and four touchdowns on 63 carries. Senior tight end Payton Policky is the receiving leader, catching four of South’s passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Junior linebacker Xander Harwood is one of many that helps make the defense as strong as it is, leading in total tackles with 23, and six tackles for a loss of yards.

Riverside is led in passing yards by Landyn Schoenrock, who has completed 20 of 39 throws for 361 yards and two touchdowns, and added 51 rushing yards. Junior Jaxon Gordon leads the team in rushing yards with 803 yards and 14 touchdowns on 116 carries, and has caught the ball for 28 yards. Senior AC Roller leads in both receiving yards and total tackles. He has six receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown, along with one touchdown on the ground on 55 rushing yards. Roller has 31 total tackles, with three tackles for a loss of yards and .5 a sack.
