Greene County and Paton-Churdan are both on the road in conference high school volleyball matches tonight. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams travel east to Nevada for a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference match with the Cubs while Coach Makayla Sparr’s Rockets go southwest to Dunlap vs. Boyer Valley.

The Rams are 2-0 in HOIAC matches and 7-8 overall. Nevada started the season ranked in the top 15 in Class 4A, but have since dropped out of the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union rankings despiate a 15-5 record. In the conference, the Cubs are 2-1, having lost to Roland-Story (Story City) in five sets.

P-C is 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the conference after dropping their last five matches. They are 0-2 in the Rolling Valley after falling in three sets to Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton on Tuesday night in Churdan..
