The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will be holding informational community meetings beginning in October.

These meetings will be used to present information on the county’s plan for Emergency Medical Services within Guthrie County, and outline the EMS ballot measure ahead of early voting and Election Day in November. Guthrie County Auditor Dani Fink says that there are currently eight community meetings scheduled, with all to begin at 7pm on their respective dates, ranging from October 1st through the 16th. Some of the information that will be provided at the meetings will include the county’s vision and priorities, a look at what EMS services in Guthrie County look like currently and what they are proposed to look like with the ballot measure, as well as the proposed tax levy formula, and how funds will be distributed between services. Members of the public are encouraged and invited to attend any meeting they can, especially those scheduled in their community. A list of the meetings and their locations, along with an informational flier, can be found below.
