A new program featuring students navigating into their career field is available at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School for the current school year.

ADM High School Principal Lee Griebel expresses that there is a new work program that was ignited from the new Football Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch. Griebel describes the curriculum students are learning in that class.

“The opportunity to get out and experience careers. Not only careers they may want, but also careers that once they experience them, they think ‘no I chose a different direction,’ and that’s as great of information we can give kids, so they can start making those choices for post-secondary education based on the careers they want.”

Griebel says that the new class will give students a taste of engaging in ‘on-the-job’ training and is anticipating growth past the first year, as he notes that many kids are already adapting well to it.
