Sept. 23rd

Doni Sieck, Panora, was traveling in the 22000 block of 240th St when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $4000.  She was able to drive from the scene.

Sept. 24th

Melody Forrett, age 43, 1204 Marshall St, De Soto, was arrested for Assault – Fear Of Immediate Contact.

Sept. 25th

Daniel Badolato, Lorimor, was traveling south on S. 7th Street in Adel, when he attempted to cross Hwy 6.  In crossing Hwy 6, Mr. Badolato was struck by a vehicle driven by Kelly Murrow, Dallas Center and by a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Miles, West Des Moines.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Miles car was estimated at $6000.  Damage to Ms. Murrow’s car was estimated at $3000 and damage to Mr. Badolato’s car was estimated at $3000.  Mr. Badolato was cited for Fail To Obey Stop Sign And Yield Right Of Way.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
