Perry Football fell to 2-2 on Friday night. The Storm Lake Tornadoes spoiled the Homecoming game with a 32-7 win. Storm Lake has now beat Perry back to back years. The Perry offense was held scoreless in the first half while Storm Lake scored 13. Perry would cut the lead to 6 in the second half after an opening drive TD by Aiden Burgin in the third. Storm Lake would score 19 unanswered in the victory. The Perry defense surrendered 241 yards through the air, most all season. In total, Storm Lake out gained Perry 480 to 200 yards. The Homecoming King, Geren Kenney, threw for 65 yards and rushed for 46 both a team high.
The Bluejays return to action Friday at Nevada. Perry goes into that game at 2-2 while Nevada is 3-1. This will be the first District game of the season.
