Junior Emma Popp, from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, garnered a great performance for swimming on Saturday.

ADM, who partners with Waukee Schools for swimming, was at the Mercer Park Aquatic Center in Iowa City as they picked up a third place finish. The team tallied a total of 379 points, behind Bettendorf (2nd) and Iowa City West (1st). Junior Emma Popp won the 100-meter Backstroke and also was apart of the fourth place team for the 400-meter free relay, with Tigers’ Sophomore teammate Finlee Burns.

During the 2024 season so far, the team finished second in Mason City on September 7th and won a home meet versus Southeast Polk on September 9th. ADM swimmers will be in Johnston tomorrow at Summit Middle School for their next meet, starting at 5:30pm.
