The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center FFA Chapter is once again heading to the National FFA Convention.

During the September School Board meeting, the overnight trip was approved. AC/GC Superintendent Josh Rasmussen tells Raccoon Valley Radio why this trip is seen as beneficial for the students from an administrative and School Board view.

“Great opportunity for high school FFA students to go to National Convention and travel, and get some leadership opportunities there, and that is from October 22nd through 26th.”

The AC/GC FFA Chapter is extremely involved with many events in the community throughout the year, with members participating and helping out at the Guthrie County Fair, the Chapter’s new annual car show and BBQ competition, and the annual pancake feed.
