The AC/GC Chargers football team is in action tonight, as they hold down the home field for Homecoming.

The Chargers host the South Central Calhoun Titans, a team that they started off slow against last year. AC/GC is coming off a rivalry win against the Panorama Panthers, where they came away with a 42-11 victory. Senior quarterback Jathan South leads the team in passing yards, completing 10 of 12 attempts for 201 yards and four touchdowns, and adding 334 rushing yards with four touchdowns on the ground.

Junior running back Joe Crawford is the rushing leader, with 344 yards on 28 attempts, with four touchdowns, and eight receiving yards for a touchdown in the air as well. Senior tight end Payton Policky leads in receiving yards, hauling the ball in four times for 68 yards and a touchdown. Junior linebacker Xander Harwood is the total tackles leader, with 18 to his name, along with five tackles for a loss of yards.

For South Central Calhoun, senior quarterback Andrew Anderson leads in passing yards, with 51 completions on 85 attempts for 589 yards and three touchdown passes, along with 92 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Senior fullback Kaden Dorman leads the Titans in rushing yards, with 144 yards on 27 attempts for two touchdowns, and has also pulled down the ball for 23 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Fellow senior running back and linebacker Cole Higgins leads in receiving yards and total tackles, with 19 receptions for 252 yards, along with 138 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He also has 21.5 total tackles, with two tackles for a loss of yards and half a sack.
