The Adel Public Library will soon be holding an event revolving around medicare.
The library is offering a free session to assist in coaching adults in the realm of medicare. Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the library is collaborating with the Iowa Senior Health Insurance Information Program that is geared towards adults 19 years and older. She gives a glimpse as to the topics that they will be discussing.
“It’s just a program talking about navigating medicare. How to apply, (and) how to keep your benefits. There will be someone there who is able to make appointments for individuals to come in and learn more about medicare and how to apply all that, and then also just a large open Q&A for anybody that may have questions.”
The program will also pinpoint on Medicare Advantage Plans, Supplement Insurance, and identify fraud. Thursday’s event is set to happen in the library’s community room from 6-7:30pm. For more information, contact the Adel Public Library at (515)-993-3512.
