The Dallas County Conservation Board will commemorate the beginning of fall season with a program on Sunday.

Summer is quickly coming to an end, and the conservation board is inviting people to Hanging Rock Park, 416 Crooked Street, in Redfield for the Fall Equinox Sunset Celebration. The organization states that a naturalist will be on hand to teach more about the astronomical clock.

Participants will be able to watch the sun go down together as they navigate through the meaning of the fall season ahead. The event is free and does not require registration. The Fall Equinox Sunset Celebration is taking place Sunday evening from 6:30-7:30pm.
