It’s the Panorama Invitational Cross-Country Coed Meet today on the school grounds in Panora for the Greene County Rams. Coach Jeff Lamoureux will have his girls and boys running the five kilometers (3.1 miles) today. High temperatures are expected for this time of year, and there could be a chance of precipitation.

The Rams are coming off two strong performances in their last two meets, especially on the boys’ side. A second place finish in Redfield at the West Central Valley (Stuart) Invitationsl on Sept. 5 was followed by finishing in third at the Jefferson Community Golf Course at Sept. 12’s Ram Invitational.

Senior Noah Hinote has led the Rams in all three meets this season. Sophomore Brady Carstensen has not been far behind Hinote in the last two meets.

Freshman Rylee Mowrer has been the clear leader for the Greene County girls. She’s been the top runner for the girls by a wide margin.
