An activity that was apart of the RVTV event held September 2nd in Perry, will celebrate with two upcoming programs.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that many people loved RVTV, which saw over 2,000 people gather prior to the Cy-Hawk Football game. She reveals that two car shows are soon coming to Perry. The first is happening this Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 2823 Willis Ave, at 5pm that will succeed with an outdoor movie afterwards. Pasutti details that a second car show is taking place in early October.

“The Perry Dice Cruisers Car Show on Saturday, October 5th, 10(am)-2(pm) (on) downtown 2nd Street. The whole downtown will fill up, (as) proceeds (will) go to the Raccoon River Pet Rescue.”

Pasutti admits that people told her that they wanted to see a similar event to RVTV on a more local level, and she is engaging in conversations with the chamber to see the realistic possibilities in the future.
