The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs have joined forced with the Johnston Dragons for the girls swimming season. Now as a co-op venture between the two schools, the Johnston girls swim team now has Mustang representation in the pool. The Dragons just traveled to Southeast Polk High School on Tuesday for varsity girls swimming and diving, and defeated the Rams 104-82.

Now sitting at 1-1 so far this season, the Dragons prepare for their next swimming competition on Saturday morning, the Bobcat Invite at Marshalltown High School. The Dragons will compete against: Atlantic, Grinnell, Indianola, Lewis Central, Linn-Mar, Marshalltown and Ottumwa. The action is set to begin Saturday morning at 9am.
