Several swimmers from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn performed well in Tuesday’s meet against Dowling Catholic.

ADM partners with Waukee Schools for the girls swim team. On Tuesday, the team hosted the Maroons and in the 200 individual medley, Tigers Freshman Amanda Gustafson finished sixth, while it was Junior Emma Popp capturing second. ADM Sophomore Finlee Burns notched a third place finish in the 100-meter Breaststroke, as Popp and her were apart of the 400 Free Relay team that tallied second. Popp won first place for the 100 Backstroke as Gustafson finished in sixth, with Popp on the third-place team for the 200 meter free relay. In the 50 free, Burns finished overall in second place.

The Tiger swimmers, along with Waukee, will be participating in the Little Hawk Relays at the Mercer Park Aquatic Center and Scanlon Gym, 1317 Dover Street, in Iowa City Saturday morning, beginning at 8:30am.
