The City of Perry is in the midst of a busy 2024, completing many projects, including several streets in town.

According to a press release, the company Des Moines Asphalt is going to work on the Galveston Court, access drive to the airport (Area 27) and Warford Avenue west of Highway 144 to West 3rd Street with new asphalt surface. The city states that work within the areas will vary with the construction and that barricades will be put up to block off certain streets. 

The city asks residents to obey the construction zones as access will be limited throughout the day, but reopen at the end of the day.
