The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

The board approved a resolution to canvas the City of Bouton special election as Auditor Julia Helm said that Bouton recently changed their mayor and council terms. Relating to the special election, the board approved to receive post election audits. 

Other items on the agenda that were approved included a Dallas County Sheriff’s vehicle purchase of a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe and is trading in a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a Heartland Coop Anhydrous expansion to install a 30,000 gallon storage capacity tank in Minburn, and a Secondary Roads administration addition geothermal conductivity test to Thorpe Constructing LLC in the amount of $16,700. The board ended the meeting by entering a closed session to give employee performance reviews.
