Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School Principal Brian Sauser knew that there would be a few ups and downs to coming in as a new administrator, but is excited with how things have played out so far.

Sauser says that as a first time principal, there have been a few learning curves thrown his way, but that the amazing staff and students at AC/GC have made things a lot easier for him. He mentions that overall, things have been a little chaotic but a lot of fun, and that there have been many learning opportunities for him.

Sauser adds that coming from a coaching and athletics background, being able to help coach some for football has really helped him make even better connections with some of the students. He explains that one of the best parts about being the principal at AC/GC so far has been getting to know the students and staff, and shares that the small size of the school has really helped him do that, even in a short amount of time.
