2020 Greene County High School graduate Tyler Miller and his Iowa State U. football teammate Abu Sama spoke to the Greene County High School football players and coaches last Thursday at the middle school.
Miller is a fifth year senior and a starting tackle for the Cyclones. He talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about ISU’s 20-19 victory in Iowa City over the Hawkeyes. “The big Cy-Hawk game is obviously a huge game in the state of Iowa. We got really good at the second half adjustments. We got our cadence figured out, and other stuff ironed out. I think the coaches and the players did an extremely good job including the leaders on our team that acknowledged that we’ll be OK because you don’t want to blame or shift blame on any one person. I think that show just how together our team is.”
ISU had a bye week last week. The Cyclones (2-0) host Arkansas State (2-1) this Saturday afternoon at Jack Trice Stadium.
