The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball team is preparing for their 15th match of the season against North Polk tonight.
The Tigers will be making the trip over to Alleman to battle the Comets for a single game. ADM is coming off the Southeast Polk Tournament on Saturday, where they split four games, beating Southeast Polk and Dallas Center-Grimes, but falling to Waukee Northwest and Pella. North Polk also played in that same tournament where they went 1-3, defeating Oskaloosa, but lost to Waukee, Lewis Central, and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
Coming into tonight’s matchup, Tigers Junior Elise Coghlan leads with 234 assist and Senior Addison Herrick has 20 blocks. The Comets lead the historical series 3-2, but ADM has taken the last pair. The Tigers are 9-5 (2-0 inside the Raccoon River Conference) on the year, while North Polk is 8-9 overall (2-0 RRC). The game will be part of conference play and set off from Alleman at 7:15pm.
