Tonight’s PM Sports Magazine KG98 Edition starting at 6 o’clock on KGRA 98.9 FM features Iowa State University football players Tyler Miller and Abu Sama. Starting off the program is an interview with Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan, followed by Ram cross-country coach Jeff Lamoureux, and Paton-Churdan volleyball coach Makayla Sparr.

Miller and Sama spoke to the Greene County football team and coaches on Sept. 12 following the Rams’ practice. ISU had a bye week in the schedule and did not play on Sept. 14.

Miller, who attended Paton-Churdan high school until transferring to Greene County his junior year, is a starting offensive tackle for the Cyclones. The fifth year senior talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about his one year playing for Coach Duncan. Duncan was a first year head coach in 2019 when Miller was a high school senior and he had already committed to play for the Cyclones. Miller also comments about the ISU win in Iowa City on Sept. 7, as well as what he talked to the Greene County players about.

Sama’s comments include starting each day with prayer, a positive attitude, and a smile. The former Southeast Polk High School star is a true sophomore at Iowa State and he burst onto the National scene last November with three long touchdowns runs in the snow at Kansas State, leading the Cyclones to a road win.
