The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Cross Country team competed hard for a sixth place finish in Ames this past Thursday.

The Tigers ran at Iowa State University for the Gilbert Invitational, where they tallied sixth overall as a team out of 19 teams with 191 points. Individually, Freshman Elliote Von Roden captured 19th overall with a time of 19:49 in the 5K. Senior Ella Goodrich was second on the team, 32nd overall, running 20:23, with Sophomore Allie Eggleston finished 35th (20:33), and Sophomore Addy Bjork placed 50th overall with a time of 21:06.

Other great ADM performances included Senior Hannah Desmarais (21:26), Evelyn Horgen (22:17), Mackealin Sutton (22:45), and Karley Mattes (23:31). The Tigers are scheduled to be back in action tomorrow afternoon at the Ballard Golf & Country Club. The meet will begin at 5:10pm.
