Today is the final day of a pre-sale at the Jefferson Public Library.

The Children’s Books and Scrapbooking Supply Sale is from 9am-1pm in the basement of the library. Library Director Jane Millard says there is a wide range of children’s books, along with office supplies, and scrapbooking supplies such as stickers and scrapbooking papers of all shapes, colors and sizes. She talks about needing to push out additional children’s books, but also an abundance of scrapbooking supplies that they needed to have room for the upcoming Fall Book Sale that starts next weekend.

“It’s sprung from just the generosity of a family here in our community that was generous and shared them with us. And it’s more than what we can use for our children’s crafts so we want to share that.”  

Millard adds all proceeds will go back to the Friends of the Library for supplemental purchases of needed and additional items for the library.
