Private graveside services for Thomas William Smith, 73, of West Des Moines, will be held at Violet Hill Cemetery, in Perry.

Thomas is survived by his two sons, Dallas Smith and David (Amanda) Smith; his grandchildren, Alexander, Danielle, Austin, David, Evan, Owen, and Avery Smith; his sister, Jeanie Campbell; half-sister, Shawn Smith; half-brother, Danny (Sarah) Smith; and his friend, Lucille. He is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
