The Dallas County Board of Supervisors is in the process of finalizing a bond referendum for the November ballot.

According to a press release, a new criminal court building is planning to be built in the City of Adel that will help address court function, security, technology, efficiency, and accessibility. The release states that the proposed bond referendum will ask residents to consider the new building worth close to $57,000,000.

The building will be a three-story facility with 78,000 square footage on each floor, including two courtrooms, lobby offices, and a separate space for employees. The public is welcome to attend future supervisors meetings prior to the November election to ask questions. To learn more about the new criminal court building, click here.
