The farmer’s market in the City of Perry will soon be coming to an end.
There are three more opportunities for residents to gather great produce at Perry’s Farmer’s Market before it wraps up for 2024. According to Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, the first farmer’s market was on June 6th. With three remaining, she reveals the theme for each.
“Thursday (tomorrow) will be our last night with Iowa PBS Kids and their kids’ activities. The following Thursday will be community night, so our last themed event of the season. And then the following Thursday will be our last market of the season (on) September 26th.”
Pasutti delights in knowing that it’s been a great summer with the farmer’s markets and thanks all the businesses that have been apart of it as well as the community for their support. She looks forward to the Spooktacular event in October and the Lighted Parade to follow in November. The farmer’s market takes place along 2nd Street in Perry on Thursdays from 4-7pm.
