The AC/GC Chargers were busy in the field of sports this last week.

The cross country teams were in action Tuesday at Dallas Center-Grimes, and the boys team came away with a 6th place finish while the girls team secured 8th place against some tough teams from larger schools. The volleyball team was also in action Tuesday, as they hosted and defeated Pleasantville in a match that took all five sets. Thursday night the volleyball team returned to action as they hosted a quad tournament, and took down all three of the other teams, first Nodaway Valley, then Exira-EHK, and finally West Central Valley. To finish off the week, the football team hosted Earlham, and after a bit of a back and forth throughout the game, came out on top, defeating their opponent 28-21.
