A local high school in Dallas County is in the process of upgrading to a new facility in a couple of years.

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn school district will receive a new high school in a few years, but there is still more work to be done. ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the site plan needs to be developed and approved by local authorities. He describes the site plan that the school board was recently presented with.

“Which shows the location of the school building on the site, the orientation of the building where the parking lots are going to be, the access in and out of the site where the football stadium and practice fields will be.”

Dufoe mentions that the board was satisfied with those requests and is allowing the plan to continue to move forward. He says that the next major phase involves a bid opening in the month of January.
