The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board will meet in regular session on Monday.

The board will be requesting approval of a quote for adding a door alarm security system to Adel Elementary, DeSoto Intermediate, ADM Middle and High School from either Atech Security or CEC Security. Other items on agenda seeking approval at Monday’s meeting include a bond counsel and disclosure counsel engagement agreement with Ahlers & Cooney, a resolution for a bond procedure for the new high school building, and a request for a special education deficit balance.

More items apart of Monday’s agenda pertain to contracts with Des Moines Area Community College, a vehicle purchase to replace the current box truck, plus discussions on the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, and a design update for the new high school. The meeting is happening Monday evening at 6pm inside the District Board Room, 215 N. 11th Street, in Adel. The meeting will be open to the public.
