Local law enforcement in the City of Bouton will have a debut bash soon.
The Bouton Fire Department is starting a new event with a carnival next Saturday, September 14th. Bouton Fire Department Treasurer Kelly Alliss tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the organization is igniting the carnival for a fundraiser for the fire department. She hopes the event will be a positive experience for the community.
“Something fun for the kids and we’re going to have ring toss and a petting zoo. They’ll be a donkey and a goat, and maybe a sheep.”
Alliss adds that there will be plenty of food including cotton candy, ice cream, hot dogs, pork sandwiches, and chips. Also, a dunk tank will be on display, along with a chance to play carnival games and win prizes. The Bouton Fire Department Carnival is going on next Saturday from 2-7pm at the Bouton City Park. The proceeds will go towards a third bay for the fire department. Tickets can be purchased at the event with prices ranging from one dollar to $25.
