The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football team look for a win in week two of the football season against the Newton Cardinals. The Mustangs travel to H.A. Lynn Stadium in Newton for a fairly even match up on paper. Mustang Head Coach Scott Heitland discussed both teams and their similarities saying, “I told the kids last night at practice, they are us and we are them, when you look at our returning experience. When you look at where the new players are. We both have some young kids playing, you know, we both lost some important seniors a year ago. It really is to teams that are in similar spots.”
