It’s the second meet of the high school girls and boys cross-country seasons for the Greene County Rams. Coach Jeff Lamoureux’s Rams go to the West Central Valley Classic at the middle school in Redfield for a 4:30 p.m. start.

The host Wildcats are joined by the Rams, Ankeny Christian Academy  CAM (Anita), Creston, Des Moines Hoover, Exira-EHK, I-35 (Truro), Nodaway Valley (Greenfield), Pleasantville, Saydel (Des Moines), and Southwest Valley (Corning).

The Rams were in the middle of the field for boys last week at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course hosted by Southeast Valley. The girls only had three runners at the season opener, not enough for a team score.
