Paton-Churdan improved t0 2-0 in high school volleyball with a Tuesday night non-conference victory on the road at Orient-Macksburg in three sets. Scores were 25-20, 25-17, 27-25. Coach Makayla Spaar’s Rockets did not win a match last season. They started 2024 last week with a win vs. Storm Lake St. Mary’s to stop an 18 match losing streak dating back to 2022. The Rockets now have won their first two matches of the season.

Mia Russell and Alivya Smith each had six kills for the Rockets vs. O-M. Kaliyah Minihan had five ace serves and Smith led the team in digs with 10.
