Report of Fraud taken from the 2600 blk of Mckinley. Case under investigation.

Accident report taken from the 2700 blk of Willis Ave.

Customer Neil Hanson was driving his Ford Ranger pk off a trailer to get it worked on. Backed up allowing it to roll backwards and struck a parked vehicle. Approx damage $1500. Damage to the right rear bumper and right rear quarter panel.

Gray 2014 Audi reg to Candon Jones of rural Perry, IA. Audi sustained damage to the front left bumper, headlight assembly, fender and wheel. Approx $2500.

Domestic disturbance received from the 1300 blk of Evelyn St, verbal altercation only. No arrests.

August 31

Accident report taken from intersection of McColl St and Willis Ave

Unit 2 2011 Ford Focus, driven by Leroy Hameister. Approx. damage $2000.

Unit 1 2012 White Ford Transit to Bautista-Martinez, Rene of 622 3rd St. $1000 approx. damage. Unit 2 was traveling EB on 900 blk of Willis Ave, attempted to make a right turn onto McColl St and struck Unit 1, Unit 1 who tried to pass on the wrong side of the road. Unit 1 received damage to the front passenger side quarter panel and passenger door.

Unit 1 received minimal cosmetic damage. Both vehicles were driven away. Bautista-Martinez was issued a citation for Unsafe Passing.

It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
