Perry volleyball is still waiting for their first match of the season.  Majority of the state has already been able to play numerous matches.  The Jayettes will open the season Saturday morning at Rockwell City.  Charity Parnell is one of the Jayettes who is ready for the season to start.  “I’m sure we’ll come out ready and strong obviously with having a little bit more practice time than other teams.  I think it will push us harder to work later and even more ready on a when that first one comes around.”  Maddi Stika is hoping for some positive vibes for the first day.  “I think we’re ready.  We’re gonna bring some good energy and have some fun.  Hopefully, we can beat some teams.”

The Jayettes will take part in the Early Bird Tourney this Saturday in Rockwell City.  Perry is one of seven schools that will be there.
