One organization in Jefferson is gearing up for its final musician to perform as the summer season begins to wind down.
Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County Board President Danielle Ross says Greene County’s own Taylor King is their final Summer Concert Series performance on Saturday from 5-7pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that King was one of the musicians that played in both Porch Fests that Tower View Team put on in partnership with the Thomas Jefferson Gardens and she shares her thoughts about his music.
“He is really good. He has a great variety of different types of music. Anything from the “Beatles,” New Age, you know older rock, some country, it’s a really good variety. It’s nice to have somebody local come here because it brings a lot of support from their family and friends, and helps out with a nice crowd..
While the show is free, Ross encourages attendees to bring their own seating and there will be a variety of food and wine trucks on hand for purchase.
