Following the first two successes of a new program, one final tour has been set for a Greene County-based business.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says the last “Insider Tour” for 2024 will be at Deal’s Orchard. 

“So if you want to learn how the cider is made and you want to see kind of the behind the scenes, and different things, and learn about the ways that Deal’s Orchard does what they do,  we’ve got an opportunity for you. I assure you there’ll be delicious snacks there, that’ll be great. But just kind of learn the science and biology of what makes the orchard successful and how you make a living at it?”  

Wetrich points out that these “Insider Tours” were created by the Economic Vitality Team and are meant for local people to learn about area businesses and feel proud about the assets that are in Greene County. 

The event will take place on September 19th from 5:30-7pm and the cost to attend is $10. Pre-registrations are required, as space is limited. Click here to sign up.
